Charging adapter not included: we recommend using at least a 15W charger to allow for longer scanning sessions.

compatibility

It's suitable for scanning 35mm film straight out of the box, the standard holder can be replaced with a variation that shows the film sprockets, and in future it will accommodate smaller film sizes such as APS, 110 and 126 film.

Most interchangeable lens digital cameras make excellent scanning cameras. To scan 35mm film, you will need a macro lens capable of focusing to 1:1 magnification. Most of the lenses available are compatible.

We do not recommend using lenses with focal lengths greater than the following:

• Full frame: under 55mm, over 105mm
• APS-C: Less than 40mm to 70mm or more
• M4/3: Less than 40mm to 60mm or more

Longer focal length lenses will work too, but we can't guarantee they come with enough tubes to work with, and you may experience vignetting with shorter focal length lenses.

We recommend wearing thin cotton gloves while scanning to avoid damaging your film.

The easy35 is a premium product, made from high quality materials because scanning requires precision and inferior materials will not give you a precise device.

The housing is made from Nylon 12, a very robust plastic that is stiff and durable. This material is also ideal for additive manufacturing. It is manufactured using an additive manufacturing technique known as MJF, which allows for the creation of complex shapes. This makes the device stronger, lighter and more compact. Tubes for rotational adjustment

The tube, including the part that facilitates rotation, is made of aluminum and anodized with a super matte finish. This makes the tube slightly heavier, but makes it very rigid. The precise threading not only improves the user experience, but also ensures that the device is perfectly aligned with the sensor. In addition, the super matte finish ensures that no reflections bounce off the film. Inside is a secondary diffuser made from Plexiglas diffuser acrylic, specially designed for LED diffusion.

Did you know there are accessories for the easy35? The easy35 has the ability to attach the easy35 duster and has an interchangeable holder.

The easy35 comes with interchangeable film holders. Currently available are a standard 35mm holder and . 35mm sprocket holder, 50x50mm mounted slide holder, APS, 110, 126 will be available soon.
